HKFC Philips Lighting International Soccer Sevens title on Sunday (May 25) with
a convincing Cup final victory over Glasgow Celtic.
Urawa Red Diamonds (white shirt) bounced back
from their Cup quarter-final loss to win a pulsating Shield final, coming from
two goals down to beat West Ham United 3-2.
The
Masters Plate final saw Hong Kong’s Happy
Valley Veterans beat KFC Tokyo 2-0.

Korea team on the way to a
50-24 victory over Hong Kong team on 24 May 2008 Saturday at king’s
Park Hong Kong which ensured they finished as runners-up in the inaugural HSBC
Asian Five Nations to runaway winners Japan.
Korea had stretched their
advantage to 35-7 by half time and although Hong Kong
scored three tries in the last quarter through Kenzo Pannell, Simon Leung and
Jon Abel, the damage had been done in the first half.
