Stunning! France knock out mighty China in Thailand |

France produced a stunning eighthfinal victory over mighty China at the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship in Thailand and will compete in the quarterfinal stage of the competition for the first time in history.
In the first of Sunday’s two games in Bangkok, the European team, ranked 14th in the world, defeated their fifth-ranked Asian rivals and multiple World Championship medalists in four sets.
Once again spearheaded by their charismatic captain Helena Cazaute, a spirited France managed to produce a shocking 3-1 (25-20, 27-25, 22-25, 25-20) upset of China, knocked the powerful opponent out of contention and qualified for the quarterfinals.

由中國香港排球總會主辦之「2025亞洲東區女子排球錦標賽」，（8月30日）在香港伊利沙伯體育館上演準決賽及名次賽，中國香港隊在主場球迷支持下打出拼勁，但面對技勝一籌的中國隊，以局數0：3落敗。
中國香港隊今日準決賽再度登場，獲大批球迷入場支持。面對中國隊有明顯實差距亦毫不畏縮，主攻詹穎琳初段果斷出手，打出氣勢。即使中國隊多次高點強攻，港隊亦能與對手爭持，有多次來回球，鬥得激烈，觀眾亦看得非常興奮。雖然首局以15-25敗，次局繼續展示防守韌力，二傳黃韻媛後場屢次救起中國隊強攻，助球隊一度追至落後8-9。中國隊其後有隊長李晨瑄扣球著地受傷退下火線，入替的滕蔓綺迅速入局，與二傳朱航霆配合甚佳，連同另一位主攻趙喆熙肩起得分重任，再贏一局25-16，趙喆熙今仗取得全隊最高15分。
第三局，中國隊隨著比分逐漸拉開，先後換上多名替補球員包括王奧芊、黃怡維、劉玲等，在多點開花的情況下，以25-7鎖定勝局，直落三局取勝，取得明日決賽入場券。中國香港隊自由人張曉諾賽後表示：「對陣中國隊我們期望加強快攻，

今季首場中銀人壽香港超級聯賽於周五（29日）正式展開，揭幕戰有「雙藍會」在旺角大球場舉行，由東方與傑志合演「開咧戰」傑志以 1:0 擊敗東方，全取三分。
