Eurovet, the world’s leading
French lingerie and beachwear trade show organizer with over 20 years of
experience, partners with the Hong Kong Intimate Apparel Industries Association
to host the second Hong Kong Mode Lingerie today for two days at the Hong Kong
Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The second Hong Kong Mode
Lingerie provides the best sourcing platform for buyers and exhibitors around
the world showcasing specialized lingerie aspects with the highest quality. Over
152 exhibitors from 16 countries participating in this largest lingerie show in
the industry in Hong Kong.
The
profound experience in lingerie trade show has made Eurovet the authority in
trend forecast of lingerie industry. Mrs.
Marie-Laure Bellon-Homps, General Manager of Eurovet shares the company’s
findings in a recent research on the lingerie market in Asia
as well as the lingerie trend worldwide in 2008.
Asia has become an important market for western and Asian
lingerie brands since 2000. The Asian lingerie
market grows tremendously – when the lingerie growth is 2.9% worldwide, the
average growth of Asia is 8% and China 11%, In view of the demographic
evolution in Asia, particularly in China and India, it shows that there will be
1 billion women aged over 15 in
both countries by 2014.
The
research shows that the lingerie sector in China is enjoying the strongest
growth with an average growth of 11% for the past five years while the average
growth for other apparel segment is 7.5%.

Equestrian Federation.
Hong
Kong will share with the rest of China the joy of hosting the
Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Hong Kong's role
as a co-host Olympic city and venue for the Olympic equestrian events has meant
increased interest in equestrian activities, so a large turnout is expected for
the Equestrian Spring Carnival 2008 at Happy Valley Recreation Ground on
Saturday, 5 April 2008. Organized by Hong Kong Equestrian Federation, with the
kind assistance of The Hong Kong Jockey Club and Riding for Disabled
Association, and with a subsidy from the Leisure and Cultural Services
Department.

Elements mall in Kowloon, Hong

The store, designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi,
covers a total sales area of 450 square meters. In addition to its main front
entrance, its also has a shop window on the second level, overlooking the

a busy plaza and trendy meeting place.

Hong Kong and a total of 24 in
China,
