© Copyright Hong Kong Government All rights reserved To welcome the Hong Kong 2009 East Asian Games (EAG) and to celebrate the 60th anniversary for the founding of the People's Republic of China, the EAG 100-day Countdown cum Torch Relay will be held on August 29. Details of the event were announced at a press conference held today (July 23). Picture shows the Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Tsang Tak-sing (4th left); the Chairman of the 5th East Asian Games Planning Committee, Mr Timothy Fok (4th right); the Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs, Mrs Carrie Yau (3rd left), together with other officiating guests, unveiling the EAG Torch.
