(8月9日）假馬來西亞波德申上演團體接力準決賽及決賽。中國香港羽毛球隊勇奪團體接力冠軍，並獲得今年12月11至14日在阿聯酋城市沙迦舉辦的世界羽聯戶外羽毛球世界盃參賽資格。
港隊在首日團體接力以C組首名出線，8強淘汰阿聯酋晉級。今場準決賽，對手中國實力強頑，港隊在首場男子三打三賽事僅以15-13領先。次場男子雙打再下一城，領先30-24。第3場港隊憑女子三打三賽事擴大優勢至45-33，尾場女子雙打穩住勝局，以60-45擊敗中國，晉級決賽，提前奪得出戰世界盃資格。
決賽面對2023世界沙灘運動會亞洲區資格賽混合團體冠軍得主印尼，港隊排出最強陣容應戰，首場男子雙打黃永棋／陳子傑旋即以15-5力壓對手，第2場女子三打三陳虹蓉／胡依廷／張櫻美憑藉穩建發揮，進一步拉開分差至30-11。第3場男子三打三黃永棋／陳子傑／林樂軒及第4場女子雙打陳虹蓉／胡依廷成功守住領先局面，最終以60-32擊敗對手，奪得2025世界羽聯亞太區戶外羽毛球錦標賽團體接力冠軍。印尼獲亞軍，中國得季軍。

港隊的黃鎮廷在男單首圈止步。他面對德國的邱黨，連輸3局，比分是9:11、9:11及7:11。 邱黨晉級16強後，將遇上頭號種子國家隊的林詩棟。
頭號種子林詩棟就在16強止步，局數2:3，不敵德國的邱黨。林詩棟首局先輸11:13，重整陣腳後，連贏兩局11:4及11:6，但第4局形勢逆轉，輸6:11，再在決勝負的第5局，以10:12飲恨。

It hasn’t taken long for WTT Champions Yokohama 2025 to burst into life, with Lily Zhang pulling off a dramatic 3-2 victory over Doo Hoi Kem on Thursday morning (11-13, 13-11, 11-8, 5-11, 11-6).
Before
today’s match-up, Doo had emerged victorious in all 10 of their
previous showdowns across all international events, and the former World
No.7 would strike first in Yokohama.
An 11-13 win in
the opener gave Doo the early momentum boost she was looking for, and
things only continued to get better for the Hong Kong, China player, who
set up three Game Point opportunities at 7-10 in the second.
If she could convert just one of those points, the match would surely be
hers. However, Zhang would go on to completely flip the script, staging
a timely response to salvage the second, and that would propel her to
new heights. Playing with the wind in her sails, the American star
seized the moment, firing on all cylinders to close out her first
victory in the rivalry.
