The Secretary for Home
Affairs, Mr Tsang Tak-sing, today (November 11) attended the flag
raising ceremony for the Hong Kong, China, delegation at the 16th
Asian Games in Panyu, Guangzhou in support of Hong Kong's athletes.
The ceremony was held at
4pm in the athletes' village in Panyu. Mr Tsang took the opportunity
to meet with the Hong Kong delegation afterwards, including a tour
around their accommodation facilities.
Mr Tsang appealed to the
athletes to show their spirit of perseverance and strive for
excellence at the games, and hoped that they would bring home good
results.
The 16th Asian Games will
be held in Guangzhou from November 12 to 27. Hong Kong will send its
largest contingent ever to the Games, comprising about 395 athletes
and 150 team officials, to participate in some 30 sports.

在2010年11月5-7日舉行的勒芒洲際大獎賽-珠海1000公里賽上，代表中國出戰的黑龍江年輕車手張善祺，本土作戰不負重望，順利完成全部比賽，獲得勒芒方程式組獎盃，為中國車手在勒芒歷史上寫下了輝煌的一筆。張善祺所在車隊的勒芒方程式(Formula Le Mans)賽車在賽事中總共完成了201圈，共歷時5小時35分多，最快單圈是1:32.948秒。
張善祺在整場漫長的賽事中，負責了第一棒共計78圈超過兩個小時的比賽。他並沒有犯下任何錯誤，並且做出了相當不錯的時間。在他的瑞士隊友Steve Zacchia駕駛最後一棒時，賽車被另外一輛車從後撞上，幸好機械師們反應及動作敏捷，很快便把賽車維修妥當，讓賽車可以重新投入比賽並完成賽事。
