attempt to make history at the Li-Ning Singapore Open after he lost
his title to unheralded Indonesian Tommy Sugiarto in the men’s
singles final at the Singapore Indoor Stadium .
4th
seed Wang Yihan downing top seeded compatriot Li Xuerui 21-18, 21-12
in the all-Chinese women’s singles final while Olympic Women
Doubles Champion Tian Qing and Zhao Yunlei saw off Japan’s 2nd
seeds Misaki Matsutomo and Ayaka Takahashi 21-19, 21-16.
