Universiade Opening Ceremony sparks inspiration and anticipation |

More than 40,000 people from around the world
gathered in the Universiade Main Stadium for the opening ceremony.
As Gwangju has traditionally been famous for its
artistic value, the ceremony had various cultural performances. Not
only traditional but also modern Korean music (known as K-pop)
entertained the audience’s ears. Moreover, diverse movements of
colored lights captivated their eyes under the slogan of ‘U are
Shining’ and ‘Light Up Tomorrow’.
The torch-lighting
ceremony concluded the opening ceremony of 28th Summer Universiade in
Gwangju. The audience was excited to find out who the last torch
bearer was. Medalists from past international sporting events ran
towards to declare the opening of the Universiade Gwangju 2015. Park
Chan-ho, a former major league baseball player was the last
torchbearer and ignited the cauldron with artistic gymnast Yang
Hak-seon.

今個夏季，adidas於中環海濱活動空間興建adidas運動基地(adidas Sports Base)，為熱愛運動的年青人打造以「Boost Your Summer為題的大型暑期企劃，於為期約6個星期內，舉行一連串的運動比賽及訓練，包括《adidas Cup 2015》、《2V2 be the difference 2015》等足球賽事；《adidas Streetball Challenge 2015》、《adidas Streetball Academy 2015》等籃球賽事及訓練，以及跑步、瑜伽《#mygirls Yoga Class 》及針對提升體能的循環訓練等等，為對運動充滿熱情的年青人提供綜合運動體驗。adidas希望透過一連串活動，為本地熱愛運動的年輕人提供比賽及訓練的平台，讓他們有機會發揮潛能、互相比試、互相激勵，同時也培育及啟發年輕人創意思維，擴闊視野，幫助年輕人作全面的發展。
為慶祝座落於中環海濱活動空間的adidas Sports Base 正式啟用，adidas很榮幸邀請到美籍華人NBA球星林書豪(Jeremy Lin) 擔任主禮嘉賓，為adidas Sports Base 作啟動儀式，並為「Boost Your Summer暑期企劃揭開精彩序幕。
