由中國香港排球總會主辦之「2025亞洲東區女子排球錦標賽」，（8月31日）在香港伊利沙伯體育館煞科。中國隊在矚目的冠軍賽與中華台北隊首三局都要鬥到最後，激戰之下以局數3：1擊敗對手成功衛冕。中國香港隊則在季軍賽不敵韓國隊，以第四名在主場謝幕。

France produced a stunning eighthfinal victory over mighty China at the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship in Thailand and will compete in the quarterfinal stage of the competition for the first time in history. 

In the first of Sunday’s two games in Bangkok, the European team, ranked 14th in the world, defeated their fifth-ranked Asian rivals and multiple World Championship medalists in four sets. 

Once again spearheaded by their charismatic captain Helena Cazaute, a spirited France managed to produce a shocking 3-1 (25-20, 27-25, 22-25, 25-20) upset of China, knocked the powerful opponent out of contention and qualified for the quarterfinals.
