2018年度「Redress設計大賽」總決賽者名單揭盅

經一番搜索全球可持續時裝設計人才後，現宣佈共11位能擠身2018年度「Redress設計大賽」總決賽的設計師。他們代表著11個不同地區，包括香港、印度和英國，體現了將紡織廢料帶回時裝界這個持續增長的趨勢，並推動循環經濟走向主流。總決賽者從各種複雜和熱門的議題中獲得靈感，包括氣候變化、戰爭、性別認同、過度消費，以及互聯網如何改變我們彼此間的關係等。這11位新晉設計師代表了具有社會與環境意識的新世代，致力於透過其行動而作出改變。隨參賽水平創下新高，專業比賽評審團面臨選擇難題。由於分數叮噹馬頭，因此 Redress 專程增設了第11名總決賽名額。所有總決賽者現於其居住地，包括來自香港、台灣、以色列、菲律賓、日本、法國、英國、西班牙、丹麥，以及首次出現在比賽上的印度和澳洲，創造他們一共五件的時尚系列。其時尚系列亦將很快轉交至比賽的物流合作夥伴 UPS 手上，由它專業送遞到港，為於2018年9月6日舉行的總決賽時裝表演做準備。屆時會在1,000 名現場觀眾面前和透過全球直播宣佈得獎者。該時裝表演是香港貿易發展局主辦的「CENTRESTAGE 香港國際時尚匯展」之其中一個活動。 Photo

The Hong Kong women's 4x100m medley relay team celebrate after winning the silver medal as a South Korean and China swimmer reacts to they team's disqualification during swimming competition at the 18th Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia, Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018. HK Team were fourth in the competition and suddenly jumped to the third after Korea was disqualified and then became the Silver medalist as the China was also disqualified, Singapore team became the third accordingly
