Champion at last : China’ Chen Xingtong seizes the moment to lift Yokohama Trophy |

Chen Xingtong has finally got her hands on that elusive WTT Champions winner’s trophy, clinching the Women’s Singles title at WTT Champions Yokohama 2025 with a majestic display against Sun Yingsha on Monday evening (6-11, 11-8, 11-3, 11-5, 6-11, 11-5).
The last time the two players met on the WTT Series, Sun completed a commanding 4-0 win over Chen in the WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 final, and fate would pit the two against one another in a WTT Champions final once again.
Standing between Sun and the title, Chen was not to be underestimated. At the backend of last season, she upstaged Sun in spectacular fashion at WTT Finals Fukuoka 2024, and was determined to dish out the same result at Yokohama BUNTAI.

(8月9日）假馬來西亞波德申上演團體接力準決賽及決賽。中國香港羽毛球隊勇奪團體接力冠軍，並獲得今年12月11至14日在阿聯酋城市沙迦舉辦的世界羽聯戶外羽毛球世界盃參賽資格。
港隊在首日團體接力以C組首名出線，8強淘汰阿聯酋晉級。今場準決賽，對手中國實力強頑，港隊在首場男子三打三賽事僅以15-13領先。次場男子雙打再下一城，領先30-24。第3場港隊憑女子三打三賽事擴大優勢至45-33，尾場女子雙打穩住勝局，以60-45擊敗中國，晉級決賽，提前奪得出戰世界盃資格。
決賽面對2023世界沙灘運動會亞洲區資格賽混合團體冠軍得主印尼，港隊排出最強陣容應戰，首場男子雙打黃永棋／陳子傑旋即以15-5力壓對手，第2場女子三打三陳虹蓉／胡依廷／張櫻美憑藉穩建發揮，進一步拉開分差至30-11。第3場男子三打三黃永棋／陳子傑／林樂軒及第4場女子雙打陳虹蓉／胡依廷成功守住領先局面，最終以60-32擊敗對手，奪得2025世界羽聯亞太區戶外羽毛球錦標賽團體接力冠軍。印尼獲亞軍，中國得季軍。

港隊的黃鎮廷在男單首圈止步。他面對德國的邱黨，連輸3局，比分是9:11、9:11及7:11。 邱黨晉級16強後，將遇上頭號種子國家隊的林詩棟。
頭號種子林詩棟就在16強止步，局數2:3，不敵德國的邱黨。林詩棟首局先輸11:13，重整陣腳後，連贏兩局11:4及11:6，但第4局形勢逆轉，輸6:11，再在決勝負的第5局，以10:12飲恨。
