香港遊艇會自二零一一年舉辦「民族盃賽」，至今已是第八屆賽事。一般的帆船賽事，不同國籍的帆船運動員可以組隊比賽，故不時會見到華洋匯聚的船員同賽於維港中；而「民族盃賽」則規定是每隻參戰的帆船上，所有船員的國籍必須與該船所代表的民族一致。帆船運動員更會卸下隊衣或運動裝，悉心打扮並以出位的造型應戰。
今年，本地代表「Skellum號」及「Hombre號」是姐妹帆船隊伍，船員均由「全女班」向船員組成，她們有感中國傳統家傭「媽姐」獨立自強；與帆船運動員在大海中靠自己雙手乘風破浪的形象一致，故巾幗不讓鬚眉，打扮成「媽姐」出戰賽事。為向肩負重任，日以繼夜工作的醫護人員致敬，「Karina 號」十一位帆船運動員均打扮成醫生及護士上陣比賽，籍著「民族盃賽」帶出帆船運動有助減壓之道。
在維港作賽。愈六十支勁旅由紅磡出發，一直向東行至鯉魚門峽，再折返並在九龍灣至太古城環繞一周，最後回到銅鑼灣衝線，全長十四海浬。

（澳門，2019年4月27 日）– 《第23屆全球華語榜中榜音樂影響力大典》於星期六連續第八年在澳門威尼斯人®舉辦，紅地毯儀式和頒獎典禮分別在酒店大堂及金光綜藝館舉行，星光閃耀。
「全球華語榜中榜」是唯一一個於中國及全球進行電視轉播的華語音樂頒獎典禮，自首度舉辦以來，每年都雲集各地的頂級音樂人於舉辦的城市，當中包括北京、上海、成都、香港、澳門和台北。
當晚，歌迷們都能欣賞到音樂界當紅的巨星走紅地毯時的風采，出席嘉賓包括容祖兒、楊千嬅、S.H.E.的陳嘉樺(Ella)、林志玲、張杰、于文文及黃子韜等。在星光熠熠的頒獎典禮上，大會共頒發了33個獎項。
金光綜藝館可容納15,000個座位，是南中國最頂尖的娛樂場地之一，其自十年前投入使用以來舉辦過眾多享譽聲望的頒獎典禮，以及無數亞洲以至世界級音樂巨星的演出。

“I’m
a lot happier than what I was yesterday. She hurt her leg – she was
either kicked or got cast, so we’ve been working overtime on her to
try and get her through it. We’re a bit restricted with what we can
and can’t do, so yesterday we were probably licking our wounds
thinking we’re weren’t too confident of getting there.
We’re
not miracle makers but we’re a lot happier in the position we’re
in this morning, it’s been a massive turnaround overnight. We’re
doing everything we can to try and reduce swelling, but Joe Bowditch
(Jockey) said she feels exactly how she always feels. So he’s happy
and I’m more comfortable today to say that she’s making progress
in the right direction, which is what matters. She’ll go on the
grass tomorrow; it’ll just be striding work.”
