Macao SAR, China (July 21, 2007) – The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel, a Las Vegas Sands Corp. (NYSE:LVS) property, today welcomed the English Premier League champions Manchester United and the Chinese Super League’s Shenzhen Football Club teams to Macao in the run up to The Venetian Macao Cup.

The friendship match for The Venetian Macao Cup kicks off at 8pm on 23rd July at Macao Stadium. It will mark Manchester United’s first-ever appearance in Macao as part of the team’s Asia Tour 2007. The Venetian Macao Cup represents the first salvo in a variety of events centered around the much-anticipated opening of The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel – Macao’s first truly integrated resort. The historic visit of Manchester United has been made possible by the combined efforts of title sponsor The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel, joint organizers Macao 2^nd Asian Indoor Games Organising Committee (MAIGOC), the Macau Football Association, Ka Ki Sport Development and tour organizer ProEvents.
