SNOOKER POWERHOUSES CUE UP FOR EPIC BILLIARDS BATTLE |

[July 11, 2007, Hong
Kong] Eight of the world’s top snooker players are now in Hong Kong
cueing up for the “Celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the HKSAR
– Euro-Asia Snooker Master Challenge 2007”. The tournament serves
as one of the major events being held to mark the Celebration of the
10th Anniversary of the Establishment of the HKSAR.
All eight of the headliners
including John Higgins, Ken Doherty, Ronnie O’Sullivan, Stephen Hendry,
Ding Junhui, James Wattana, Supoj Saenla and Marco Fu joined this afternoon’s
Press Conference to share their excitement about the upcoming tournament.
The players presented
traditional Chinese birthday buns in ‘snooker style’ to the HKSAR
Government for the celebration of the 10th anniversary and also presented
an autographed poster to the Hong Kong Billiard Sports Control Council
(HKBSCC) to thank the association for its tireless efforts in snooker
development.

Hong Kong, 30 June 2007 – Five of the FC Bayern Munchen’s
top football stars took time out from their preparations for the weekends Hong Kong
Reunification Cup to line up in support of the grand opening of the new
adidas store at Times Square today.
Among the special guests attending today’s opening were goalkeeper
Michael Rensing, defender Philipp Lahm and midfielders Mark van Bommel, Andreas
Ottl and Jose Ernesto Sosa. Also attending today’s launch were the local
celebrity Niki Chow; Mr Adrain Siu, Commercial Director of Adidas Hong Kong
Limited and Ms May Yeung, General Manager, Retail of Swire Properties Limited
The players were treated to an authentic Hong Kong cultural experience at today's store launch, participation in the ribbon cutting ceremony and traditional Lion Dance.
