Superstars Peter Sampras and Roger Federer post on"Godolar Pier" at Venetian Macao.
Meet the Players Press Conference , Venetian Macao Tennis Showdown November 23 2007
Superstars Pete Sampras and Roger Federer arrived in Macao today for the much
awaited Venetian Macao Tennis Showdown. This is the third match in their series
of head to head clashes.
Their flight by private jet from Kuala Lumpur was delayed because of a
typhoon.
At the Welcome the Players Press Conference in the Venetian
Macao Resort Hotel.
Peter Sampras said. It was a challenge for me to play
against Roger but in the second match I got lot closer. I had a few chances but
Roger kept coming up with second serve aces. Which is what I used to do! I am
really looking forward to the match tomorrow.
World No 1 Roger Federer added, “ Peter was maybe the
greatest player ever and it is an honour for me to play against him. This
exhibition series is great for the game and helps to promote tennis in Asia.
