Hong Kong, 3 July 2009 – adidas believes
that on the fiercely competitive football pitch, a strong team can only be born
when multiple powerful elements are combined. As the official partner of the 2010
FIFA World Cup, adidas starts engaging football fans with an all new football
campaign that centers around the concept of “Every Team Needs”, paving the way
for one of the world’s largest football games. Football fever will be pushed to
new heights with an evocative message and highly anticipated football products.
The
new adidas football campaign combines riveting music with design and visual
elements from movies and graphic novels to introduce the elements needed to
create a world class team. Legendary French superstar Zinedine Zidane plays the
role of the mysterious ‘godfather’ – just like every team needs a mentor and
undoubted, authentic expert, leading the audience on a search for the various
essential elements.

The Chief Secretary for
Administration, Mr Henry Tang, delivered a speech today (July 2) in Shanghai at the
foundation completion ceremony of the Hong Kong Pavilion for Expo 2010.
Mr Tang, together with the
fulltime Deputy Director of the Shanghai Expo Bureau, Ms Zhong Yanqun, add the
final shovel-load of concrete to the foundations of the Hong Kong Pavilion at
Expo 2010.

perform a sea parade to mark the 12th anniversary of the establishment of the
HKSAR.
Mr Tsang and officiating
guests propose a toast.
The Chief Executive, Mr
Donald Tsang, attended the Parade for the 12th Anniversary Celebration of
Reunification at Hong Kong Stadium this morning (July 1). Picture shows Mr
