全運會劍擊測試賽 ( 挑戰盃劍擊錦標賽 )於啟德體藝館舉行 |

全國運動會香港賽區統籌辦公室（全運會統籌辦）今日（六月一日）表示，一連兩日（五月三十一日和六月一日）在啟德體育園啟德體藝館舉行的第十五屆全國運動會（十五運會）擊劍項目測試賽順利完成。
兩日的測試賽同時亦為挑戰盃劍擊錦標賽，項目包括男子和女子組的重劍、花劍及佩劍，分別設有公開組及元老組，共有超過500名運動員參加六個組別的賽事。
測試賽的測試範圍包括賽事運行流程、賽事組織、場地設置、體育展示及頒獎、訊息系統、醫療服務、義工服務、廣播安排等。
全運會統籌辦主任楊德強表示，今次測試賽是首次在啟德體育園舉行擊劍賽事，無論場地設施和賽事安排均達到預期效果。自去年十一月至今，香港賽區已順利完成所有八個十五運會競賽項目的測試賽。國家體育總局剛公布了十五運會的賽程，香港賽區的賽事訂於十月三十一日至十一月二十日舉行，全運會統籌辦正全力為賽事做好準備，他感謝相關政府部門和機構提供的協助及支援。

Wuxi Women Individual Epee World Cup |

France’s Alexandra Louis Marie won the gold medal at the Wuxi, China Women’s Epee World Cup and Poland won the team gold. The event took place at the Huishan National Fitness Center, with 196 women’s individual fencers and 22 teams participating in the competition.
Louis Marie faced Korea’s world champion Sera Song in the final bout of women’s individual epee, winning with a 10-9 score. In the semifinal round, Song won against China’s Nuo Xu, 15-7, while Louis Marie defeated Ukraine’s Vlada Kharkova, 15-12. Of note, in the quarterfinals, Louis Marie beat teammate and world champion Marie-Florence Candassamy, 15-10; in the round of 32, the USA’s Tierna Oxenreider won against Italy’s two-time world champion Rossella Fiamingo, 15-10.
Final rankings in women’s individual epee included Alexandra Louis Marie (FRA, gold), Sera Song (KOR, silver), Vlada Kharkova (UKR, bronze), Nuo Xu (CHN, bronze), Sara Maria Kowalczyk (ITA), Marie-Florence Candassamy (FRA), Roberta Marzani (ITA) and Gaia Caforio (ITA).

世界排名第9的港將佘繕妡以5號種子身分直入正賽，她在首圈意外以7：15不敵意大利隊劍手（Nicol Foietta）。
港隊只有連翊希、陳祉澄及吳婉琳出戰淘汰賽，技術水平不及對手，全部首圈出局，而其他則止步小組賽, 翌日團體賽，由佘繕妡、連翊希、陳渭泠及朱嘉望組成的港隊勝烏茲別克 36 : 35, 進入16強，面對冠軍坐鎮的法國，惜敗28 : 31, 完成賽事。
