Jasmine Lai won the team silver in the Jumping Team competition which was between the 6 continental teams. Each team had five riders and Hong Kong was in the same Australasia group as Australia, China, New Zealand and Oman. The Australasian, African and European teams took the lead with 8 team total penalties respectively after finishing 2 rounds at a jump height of 1.2 meters. Jasmine had 4 penalties and the team had a total of 4 penalties in the second round. Jasmine riding Butterfly Kisses delighted the Hong Kong supporters by jumping a clear round in an exciting jump-off to win the first ever silver medal for Hong Kong in the equestrian sports at the YOG
