第14届国际泳联世界锦标赛将在上海揭幕，东方体育中心综合体育馆将举行以“水的礼赞”为主题的开幕式，开幕式将分为“上善若水”和“情聚浦江”两部分。

开幕式将紧紧围绕一个”水“字，既表达了水的浪漫和文化感，同时也表达了人类和水的亲密关系，以及人类在抗击水的阻力之后的一种壮怀激越。

开幕式的演职人员将超过3000人，不光有专业舞蹈演员，还有不少游泳和花样游泳运动员。此外，还将有志愿者身缀LED彩灯组成方阵进行精彩表演。此外，开幕盛典，廖昌永、谭晶、李玟、孙楠等著名歌星还将倾情献唱 。

本届世游赛将有180个国家和地区近5000多名运动员、教练员和官员参赛，有2000多名记者参与赛事报道。共有30多个国家、50多家境外电视机构转播赛事，预计将吸引全世界35亿观众的目光。
