Asia’s greatest music festival 2013 Mnet Asian Music Award (2013 MAMA), hosted by Asia’s No.1 Content Company CJ E&M, was held on November 22 at the AsiaWorld-Expo, Arena in Hong Kong. Packed to the brim with a sold-out crowd of 10,000, the event displayed the power of Asian music to the world. 2013 MAMA was simultaneously broadcast in 94 countries throughout Asia, Europe, North America, Africa, and Oceania reaching 2.4 billion people worldwide. 

The event’s second consecutive year in Hong Kong, tickets for 2013 MAMA were sold out in one hour, displaying the explosive popularity of the event. Fans flew in from across Asia including Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and Japan to support renowned artists from their home countries.

During the red carpet, famous international artists were glamorously presented with Korean top stars showing off the best of K-Fashion. Korean music groups such as Big Bang, EXO, SISTAR, and Girls Generation were introduced as well as top Korean actors and actresses including Soo Ko, Ara Go, Jung-woo, Chae-young Han, Bo-young Lee, Ji-hyo Song, and Ji-hye Han. Top international stars including Stevie Wonder, Ylvis, ICONA POP, Aaron Kwok, and Paris Hilton also appeared to the delight of viewers worldwide.

殿堂級歌手周華健與著名文藝作家李大春，花了三年時間創作的全新國語專輯《江湖》終於面世，前晚假北京首都體育館舉行萬人鑑賞會及記者會 ，吸引過百來中外傳媒採訪，及現場6000位免費入場的觀眾，一同見証華健與李大春老師的音樂結合成果。

鑑賞會以演唱會形式，運用9x20平方米的超清LED屏幕及紗幕投影，加入電腦效果，書法，舞蹈和武術等中西古今藝術元素，將視覺和舞台上演員做出虛實整合，並由影帝劉燁擔任引言人。恩師李宗盛站台撐場，好友[中國好聲音]其中兩位人氣評審楊坤和劉歡台下支持。

華健一口氣唱了新專輯的作品《我上大名府》、《俠客行》、《離別賦》、《客夢》、《身在梁山》等後，與李大春和司儀訪在台上分享創作點滴，期間並邀請劉燁和李宗盛上台傾偈。被問為何邀請一位與樂壇大纜扯唔的劉燁任引言人？華健說：[其實我是劉燁的粉絲，早在他拍電視劇<一針見血>驚為天人，認識我的朋友或者是助理都知道我很欣賞劉燁，所以公司就偷偷地邀請他來，給我很大驚喜和支持。]劉燁說：[華健是我很尊敬的前輩，當我收到邀請就立即答應，聽了整張專輯和知道每一首歌的詞之後，我就更喜愛，這專輯是藝術品。]

而另一位打氣好友李宗盛出場，全場歡呼吶喊，他剛好前幾天在同一個地方舉行音樂會，作為華健恩師，李宗盛感觸地說：[華健第一張專輯《新的方向》是我幫他做的，到今天我看到兄弟可以做人生極為重要嘅項目，我有幾句簡單言語表達，就是羨慕，妒忌和恨。] 他笑言恨是因為與他說：[我與大春認識多年，他從沒有為我寫過歌詞，但華健卻能找來他合作！]在旁的大春聞言後即搞笑的做出「摸牌」並謂：「我們都在這兒交流嘛！]全場大笑。

鑑賞會尾聲播出專輯的第一主打歌<潑墨>MV和製作特輯，團隊成員包括著名攝影師夏永康等分享拍攝點滴。之後，華健和李大春踏上舞台機關，升上半空擊鼓和放紙炮，揭開《江湖》大幕！
