The annual charity fundraising campaign of Hong Kong Red Cross – Pass-it-On 2007 – was successfully completed since its launching in December 2007. With the support form different organization, celebrites, volunteers and the general public, the campaign has achieved a new record high this year.
Hong Kong Pop icon Mr.Alex Fong and Ms. Kary Ng showed their support by participation in the drama and puppet drama show to recognize effort of volunteers.
In his speech at the Ceremony, The Hon Sir TL Yang, GBM, JP, Chairman of Hong Kong Red Cross revealed that Pass-it-On was first incepted in 2003.To celebrate its 5th anniversary, the Pass-it-On Charity Sales Competition was developed with different categories including housing estates, schools and outreach volunteer groups. He was glad to announce that the Campaign has raised over HK$1.8 million this year which is a record high since its inception 5 years ago.
